More Warhammer 40,000 Art

I've had a bit of a busy time of it lately, which means I have a few Warhammer 40,000 paintings to post today.

The first one is my spin on the Dark Angel Insignia:

I've been a fan of these guys since they first appeared back in the day. I even remember when the new styled armor (MK7) Space Marine minis came out and the box art was an awesome rendering of the Dark Angels. I think every gaming table over night went from Ultramarines and Blood Angels to the Dark Angels!

Next is the Ultramarine Insignia:

The Ultramarines where the first chapter I painted my box of  plastic Space Marines (the iconic box art with the Crimson Fists), but they weren't Ultramarines back then, they hadn't been invented back in the days of Rogue Trader (showing my age here). Just Space Marines painted blue with the U on the shoulder guard.

Talking of Ultramarines, here is the Ultra insignia that is often found on one or two of the Ultramarines:

Finally, here is something I have wanted to paint for a long time now (a bit sad I know) a Bolter:

The Bolter is quite possibly the most awesome gun ever invented. The 'Bolter Creed' is a total rip off of the USMC Rifleman Creed, I just swapped out the word rifle for Bolter.

Back to the pin-ups for the next few paintings.
